5 of 5 perfect for any job March 16, 2021
Reviewer: Erik Mandeen from Coalville UT
I would consider this a handy fanny pack.  Currently working on my ENGB and MELD task books with the possibility of opening my Firing Boss one come fall.  Now I am a big guy 6'6" and 300lbs but I can move.  So when I am on the line I really enjoy how this harness won't move and how I can wear it and my pack no problem.  The added benefit is the fact I can throw everything I need inside of it.     The only issue I have is seeing how my company uses smaller radio when on a fire scene I have had the channel change without me noticing and I have to take it out to get a good look at the screen to fix the problem.  Given having the ability to hold two radios was great on a fire operation cause then I could listen and transmit on two frequencies without having to change a thing.  I actually keep my GPS currently in the second radio spot.  If you are going to spend the money you might as well get the best one and something you could use no matter what you are doing.

5 of 5 Fills a niche February 10, 2021
Reviewer: Aaron K from Western WA
I use this for SAR. I carry a radio, Garmin 66i GPS, notepad, and a couple of pens in it. Great for keeping the essentials on me at all times whether I'm in the vehicle, out of the vehicle, pack on, pack off, or anything else. The fold down writing surface is pretty handy. The flashlight clip on the shoulder is handy but has to be removed to comfortably wear a pack.
Overall, great piece of gear!

5 of 5 Fantastic for K9 Search Team! June 15, 2016
Reviewer: Pam B. from Libby, Montana
This chest harness is so functional for K9 Search and Rescue teams.  I use it on all searches.  I carry Rino, radio,  and a hand-held Ham dual band radio.  It has room in the zipper compartment for many emergency supplies.  I clip a collapsible bowl between me and the harness.  Perfect for us!!  Will buy again when the time comes.

5 of 5 DR-1 Dual Radio Chest Harness December 29, 2014
Reviewer: Mike Lee from Flagler County, Florida
This radio chest harness is the BEST that I have ever tried or owned - and I've tried well over 20 in my lifetime. The designers really did their research as to what a SAR team member would want/need in a radio harness. I am a COML for a County Emergency Management Agency and often assist in Full Scale Exercises as well as actual events and this is the ONE harness that has ALL-DAY comfort, while also securely carrying all of my critical equipment. I typically load it with two Motorola APX7000XE radios with speaker miss, a spare 4700 mAh battery, a NIFOG reference guide, note pad, pens, compass, maps and loose odds-and-ends. Coaxsher equipment is constructed to the highest quality standard - their equipment is durable, yet light and comfortable. My next purchase will be to pair this DR-1 with the RCP-1 Scout so that I can be in the field with sufficient food/water/supplies, versus in the Incident Command Post during my normal duties. BRAVO, Coaxsher - your equipment is THE BEST..!!

5 of 5 The best chest harness I've ever used. August 27, 2014
Reviewer: Benjamin Gohier from International
Working in the live events industry requires you to carry a wide variety of kit on the job day in day out. This harness not only fits the dual radio kit out I need but also my phone, notepad, markers, spares, leatherman and numerous other things. It's lightweight, comfortable and not to mention very professional looking. Most other harnesses I've used put a strain on the lower back for some reason, but the strap layout on the DR-1 Commander doesn't cause any discomfort even after hours of use.

Only slight issue I've had is the elastic's on the radio restraints breaking. No big deal simple to replace and well worth the tiny hassle!

It's strange to say but when I started using this piece of gear a got a lot of jibes from the guys I worked with; now they're all buying them!
