Whether you are working a short or long duration incident, the SR-1 Endeavor provides you with all-day comfort and utility, all in one lightweight, adaptable search and rescue pack.
Modular:
Like our fire gear, the SR-1 Endeavor is a modular pack with multiple set-up options so you decide how to configure it and which modules and tools to carry. The main pack offers 1,900 cubic inches of space and weighs less than 2 pounds, while the light duty pack has 400 cubic inches and weighs 7oz. With removable modules like the 400 cubic inch medical kit case and the water reservoir case with dual hose ports (CamelBak® water bladder sold separately), you can tailor this versatile search and rescue pack to meet your specific needs for each mission. New features include: Additional inside mesh storage pockets, and more webbing daisy chain connection points.

The lightweight SR-1 Endeavor is made with an aluminum stay frame for custom fit, an ergonomically-designed harness system, and an adjustable hip-belt/torso length. Made from DuPont® 1000 Denier Cordura®, the SR-1 Endeavor features quick-release ITW Nexus® buckles and hardware, YKK® zipper pulls and tape, reinforced stress points and four grommets on each side pocket to provide maximum drainage for fluids and dirt. As other reviewers noted.  The quality and versatility of the pack is outstanding.  However, I believe the packs design could be enhanced with a slightly larger or more flexible water bladder pocket.  The fit is tight and the design of pack places a lot of pressure on filling the bladder with water.  Also, I think the sewn shut loop to secure the top of the  water bladder should be a Velcro strap.  The loop is none functional without adding addition means of securing the bladder to the pack.

I can only start by saying how much I love this pack.  The flexibility of being able to switch between a stretcher carry minimal load out, and a full 24hr survival pack in a matter of a few seconds has come in handy more times then I can count.  The low profile of the pack makes it very easy to maneuver in rough terrain during searches.  A huge step up from the standard backpack configuration.

Talk about fit like a glove. This PAC is a must for SAR.  Great use of space. I love the fact I can customize for my needs by simply clipping parts I do need for a mission. My only complaint is that I did not get this before now! The flagging dispenser is a great addition to this setup!

Decided to clean pack after it got dirty and sweaty. Washed in front load washer. It got hung and all the buckles got torn off one side. Of course I'm an idiot and it was my fault. Sent in with explanation of what happened and wanted pack repaired. They sent a replacement at no charge. My stupidity caused the issue and they took care of it. Will never buy another brand from here on.
